2026 Global Citizen Festival Canceled Over Extreme Weather Forecast

Global Citizen has canceled the 2026 Global Citizen Festival shortly before the event was due to take place. The organization announced the decision on September 25 local time, citing safety concerns linked to the expected conditions in New York City.

The festival had been scheduled for September 26. TOMORROW X TOGETHER was set to appear as one of the headliners, alongside Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, Lainey Wilson, and Shaboozey. Hugh Jackman had also been announced as the event’s host.

Global Citizen said the cancellation was made because of the “extreme weather forecast for New York City this weekend.” The announcement means the planned performances, including TXT’s scheduled festival appearance, will not take place as originally planned.
