Cravity Releases Ninth EP ‘sonorous’ With Member-Created Tracks

Cravity released its ninth EP, “sonorous,” on Wednesday. The seven-track record became available on major music streaming platforms at 6 p.m., according to the group’s agency, Starship Entertainment. Cravity will also hold a fan event with LUVITY at 7 p.m. Wednesday to celebrate the release.

The EP’s lead track, “LOUDER,” is described as an electronic dance song with a dreamy but dark atmosphere. Its arrangement features a delicate melody, a structural change and a memorable chorus. The other songs are “Pulse,” “Lucky Charm,” “LOVE ME,” “Seize The Night,” “Fantasy” and “Odd One Out.” Several members contributed lyrics and compositions to the album.

Starship said “sonorous” brings different sounds together into one larger resonance. The record continues themes of wavering, longing and recovery explored in Cravity’s earlier releases. The group has nine members—Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung and Seongmin—and debuted under Starship in 2020. “Sonorous” refers to a deep, full sound.
