Jang Wonyoung Appears as a Hero at a Seoul Outdoor Gym

IVE’s official social media accounts posted a video on October 5 showing a masked figure riding a bicycle beside the Han River. Wearing long gloves, boots and a purple cape, the person drew attention before putting up a promotional poster for the group’s upcoming album, Looks Can Kill, indirectly revealing a connection to IVE.

Eyewitness accounts that day described other members appearing around the city in different hero outfits. Reported sightings included someone reading a newspaper on a rooftop, cleaning a subway platform and taking a city bus tour. A hero believed to be Jang Wonyoung was spotted at an outdoor gym on a mountain in Seoul. She used mosquito repellent, tried the exercise equipment and then lay down on a bench for a nap.

The appearances connect to the album’s “girl hero” concept. Starship Entertainment released teaser images on October 2, styled like superhero movie casting announcements, and said related content would include “Hero Comics,” “Hero on Set” and “Spin-Off.” The title track, also called “Looks Can Kill,” is set for release on October 19, followed by the full mini-album on October 26.
