Jennie Joins The Weeknd for “One of the Girls” at His Korea Concert

BLACKPINK’s Jennie joined The Weeknd onstage on October 8 at the second show of Hyundai Card Super Concert 28 – The Weeknd. The concert took place at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province, where the pair performed their collaboration “One of the Girls.”

The song had been part of the first show’s setlist, but Jennie did not appear that night. Her arrival for the second performance drew an enthusiastic response from the audience. She wore a purple swimsuit-inspired outfit with a bold design and full bangs. After the song, she hugged The Weeknd before heading backstage as he waved goodbye. Jennie also told him in Korean to enjoy the rest of the show, using the affectionate nickname “Weekend oppa.” She reportedly watched the rest of the concert from the audience.

Jennie and The Weeknd’s professional connection also includes The Idol, the 2023 HBO series co-created by the singer and Jennie’s Hollywood acting debut. She collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on “One of the Girls,” which appeared on the series’ soundtrack. The track spent 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
