KATSEYE Releases Lara-Co-Written Single “Unloveu” Digitally

KATSEYE has put its new single “Unloveu” on digital platforms. Member Lara co-wrote the track, which had previously been available only as a hidden bonus song on a physical limited-edition version of the group’s third EP, “WILD.” A black-and-white visualizer was also released alongside the song.

The lyrics follow the subdued process of moving on after a breakup, as a once-powerful bond gradually loses its hold. The track takes a more restrained approach than the energetic, dance-focused songs elsewhere on “WILD,” placing intimate vocals and layered harmonies at the center. Its title phrase recurs throughout the song in a chant-like refrain.

Lara worked on “Unloveu” with songwriters Ross Golan and Amy Allen. Golan has written songs for Maroon 5 and Justin Bieber, while Allen is known for her chart-topping work with Sabrina Carpenter. The digital release gives listeners access to a track that was previously tied to the limited physical edition of the EP.
