NCT WISH Earns Double Platinum RIAJ Certification in Japan

The Recording Industry Association of Japan has announced its newest certifications. NCT WISH’s Japanese single album “YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL” received a double platinum certification after surpassing 500,000 units shipped in Japan.

Five additional releases earned platinum status for exceeding 250,000 units shipped each. They are TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Japanese single album “Setsuna Hanabi,” ENHYPEN’s Korean mini album “THE SIN : BLISS,” RIIZE’s Japanese single album “Sunburst,” TWS’s Japanese single album “SODA SODA,” and NiziU’s Japanese EP “GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU.”

The RIAJ awards gold certification to albums shipped at least 100,000 units in Japan. Platinum begins at 250,000 units, while double platinum recognizes shipments above 500,000 units. The certifications cover releases in both Japanese and Korean formats, reflecting their shipment totals in the Japanese market.
