Seo In Young Rejects Rumor She Assaulted IU in a Bathroom

Seo In Young has again rejected a long-running rumor that she assaulted IU in a bathroom. She addressed the allegation during a conversation with singer Baek Ji Young in a video uploaded to Seo’s YouTube channel on October 7.

Baek brought up a past disagreement between the two singers in a waiting room and discussed their reputations for having strong personalities. She said neither of them had bullied younger colleagues. Seo then recalled claims that she had taken IU into a bathroom and attacked her, questioning why she would have hit the singer. She said she and IU were not close.

Baek joked that Seo might have attacked IU because of that distance, drawing an incredulous response from Seo. The conversation also touched on other misunderstandings Seo said she had experienced during her career. She recalled mistakenly thinking that Narsha was younger than her before learning Narsha’s actual age. The video revisited past rumors and confusion as part of the singers’ discussion of their public images and experiences in the industry.
