TikTok Korea Removes Go Young-wook’s Account After One Day

TikTok Korea has permanently deleted the account of former Roo’ra member Go Young-wook, who was convicted of sex crimes against minors. The account was removed one day after he joined the platform.

The Korean TikTok unit said Monday that it became aware of the account on Sunday and then permanently suspended and removed it. Go had announced the account’s launch on X one day earlier, including a link to a video uploaded to TikTok.

TikTok Korea said the decision followed its community guidelines. Go was a member of the coed group Roo’ra before his conviction. The account’s removal came shortly after its creation and announcement on social media.
