UNIS’s Gehlee Returns to the Philippines After Group’s Final Release

UNIS member Gehlee has departed Korea after the group announced its disbandment. The idol’s departure became an emotional moment for fans, who saw her at Incheon Airport before she traveled to the Philippines.

Gehlee is the center of UNIS and part of the group’s Filipino line. She is expected to continue her career in the Philippines, where she will be affiliated with Universal Records, GLXY Talent Management, and Star Horizon TV. The airport appearance was described as the final opportunity for fans to see her in Korea for the indefinite future.

UNIS debuted in March 2024 after the survival show Universe League and was recognized as the first K-pop group with a Filipino line. On September 21, 2026, the group announced its return with the digital single “Milky Way,” which became its final release before disbandment. Several members are expected to leave Korea, at least temporarily, as they pursue their next steps.
