ENHYPEN TikTok Draws Backlash Over Drink-Swapping Skit

ENHYPEN’s TikTok featuring members Jay and Jungwon has prompted criticism over its drink-swapping concept. The clip follows a trend in which something is placed in a drink before two people exchange their drinks; in the video, Jay passes out after the swap.

Some viewers objected to the scenario, describing it as insensitive and disturbing. They connected the video’s premise to an incident at a U.S. college and to drink spiking, which they said is dangerous and particularly affects women. One commenter also expressed concern about what the skit might suggest about attitudes toward women off camera.

The video was shared by ENHYPEN’s official account, and the criticism focused on the concept rather than further details about the clip. The source does not provide information about the college incident or indicate that the video depicts a real event. The discussion centers on whether portraying a drink swap that ends with someone passing out is appropriate, given the concerns viewers raised.
