Seoul International Drama Awards 2026 Announces Winners and Golden Bird Prize

The Seoul International Drama Awards 2026 has announced winners across its International Competition, K-Drama Competition and International Invitation categories. The organizing committee shared those results on September 22. The announcement covered all three categories, though the source report does not specify the individual winners.

On September 29, the committee revealed that screenwriter Kim Eun Sook would receive the Golden Bird Prize. The honor is described as the highest award presented by the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee. The announcement identifies Kim as the prize’s recipient, but does not provide further details about the ceremony.

Kim has written a number of dramas, including “Secret Garden,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “The Glory” and “Genie, Make a Wish.” The Seoul International Drama Awards announcement therefore includes both results from its three categories and recognition of Kim’s work as a screenwriter.
