TWICE’s Chaeyoung Says Her Mother Joined Her for Her First Tattoo
TWICE member Chaeyoung responded to criticism about her tattoos while chatting with fans on a communication platform on September 30. A user suggested that her mother might be upset about the tattoos. Chaeyoung replied that her mother had gone with her when she got her first tattoo.
Another fan questioned why someone would send such a hurtful message and advised Chaeyoung not to respond. Chaeyoung said she chose to reply because she wanted the sender to feel embarrassed. She also noted that she has received similar remarks many times and that they no longer affect her.
The exchange follows other recent discussions involving Chaeyoung. In August, she addressed speculation about indoor smoking, saying footage in question showed her drinking a beverage. That month, she also announced plans to leave JYP Entertainment and pursue activities through her independent music project, LIL FANTASY, while continuing with TWICE. Chaeyoung debuted with the group in 2015.
