Bang Chan Donates 300 Million Won to Three Organizations for His Birthday

Stray Kids member Bang Chan marked his 29th birthday with donations to three organizations. JYP Entertainment announced on October 3 that he gave a total of 300 million won, with 100 million won going to each group. The total was reported as approximately $223,218, and each individual donation as approximately $74,406.

HearCycle will use its contribution to help cover medical expenses and provide social rehabilitation support for young people with hearing loss. World Vision’s donation will fund scholarships and tailored growth support for children and adolescents who are vulnerable or come from low-income backgrounds.

The third donation, to OSEAN, is intended to support coastal cleanup, the removal of marine debris, and river purification. The announcement described the gifts as birthday donations, with each organization set to direct its portion toward the work outlined by JYP Entertainment.
